Top 4 Dispensaries in North Port & Charlotte County (2026): Flower, Brands, Prices & Veteran Discounts

North Port and Charlotte County make up the quiet southern anchor of Florida's Gulf Coast cannabis market — fewer dispensaries than Sarasota or Tampa, but a surprisingly strong lineup once you know where to look. The drive between North Port and Port Charlotte is short, and for patients willing to cross the county line, the payoff is real: deep veteran discounts, wellness-focused CBD ratios, solventless live rosin, and some of the most generous first-visit offers in the region.

After digging through menus, patient reviews, and the latest deal sheets, these are the four dispensaries that stand out across the North Port and Charlotte County corridor in 2026.

1. GrowHealthy — North Port

Location: 4490 Aidan Ln, North Port Hours: Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Sun 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Rating: 4.8 ★ (351 reviews)

GrowHealthy is the dispensary that proves convenience and craft can coexist. As a vertically-integrated operator, everything on the shelf is grown in-house under GrowHealthy's own cultivation program, and the North Port store is one of the few locations in Florida to offer a drive-thru window — a genuine lifesaver for patients with mobility issues or tight schedules. Pickup and statewide delivery round out the options.

Where GrowHealthy really separates itself is in solventless concentrates. The store is a destination for live rosin — including the celebrated MPX Live Rosin line — prized by connoisseurs for preserving the full flavor and terpene profile of the plant without solvents. The flower menu runs the gamut from budget-friendly eighths to premium indoor, with patient-favorite strains like Queso Perro, Durban, and the balanced Balance AFCS earning consistent praise. Edibles, vapes, tinctures, and wellness products round out the shelf.

GrowHealthy also runs the deepest veteran discount of any dispensary on this list at 30% off every purchase — among the most generous in the entire Florida program.

Parking: Easy. On-site lot parking plus the rare drive-thru option makes this one of the most accessible stops in North Port.

The verdict: The best dispensary in the area for solventless live rosin, drive-thru convenience, and the deepest everyday veteran discount (30%).

2. Surterra — North Port

Location: 14906 Tamiami Trail, North Port Hours: Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Sun 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Rating: 4.6 ★ (487 reviews)

If GrowHealthy is the connoisseur's pick, Surterra is the wellness patient's home base. The brand built its identity on ratio-based THC:CBD products — meticulously crafted tinctures, softgels, and formulations designed for patients who want precise, measurable relief rather than a blunt high. The in-house Surterra Wellness line specializes in balanced cannabinoids, and the North Port store carries one of the deepest selections of topicals in the area.

Pricing leans accessible and deal-heavy. Select flower eighths drop as low as 50% off during promotions (regularly around $30), tinctures run about $25, and topical patches and balms range from roughly $9.60 to $60 depending on format. New patients get the strongest onboarding offer on this list: 60% off the first purchase, up to $250 — a serious chunk of savings for stocking up. Veterans receive 15% off.

The menu spans flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, softgels, and topicals, but the real draw is the wellness and CBD-ratio expertise the staff brings to consultations.

Parking: On-site lot parking at the Tamiami Trail location; generally easy access.

The verdict: The go-to for wellness patients — THC:CBD ratios, tinctures, topicals, and a standout 60%-off first purchase up to $250.

3. Trulieve — Port Charlotte

Location: 4120 Tamiami Trail, Suite E, Port Charlotte Hours: Mon–Sun 9:00 AM – 8:45 PM Rating: 4.5 ★ (1,271 reviews)

Trulieve is Florida's largest and most established medical marijuana operator, and the Port Charlotte store on Tamiami Trail is the workhorse of the Charlotte County market — the most-reviewed dispensary on this list by a wide margin. The sheer breadth of the menu is the draw: smokable flower, RSO, vapes, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals, all under one roof, with consistent stock that smaller operators can't always match.

Pricing is competitive and broad. Eighths typically range from about $33 to $60+ depending on tier, with top-shelf flower running over $60 an eighth and budget ground flower available for cost-conscious patients. The onboarding offer is among the most aggressive in the state: 60% off your first order, 50% off your second, and 40% off your third. Veterans get 20% off every single purchase — not a one-time perk. Notably, Trulieve also offers statewide delivery, a major plus for homebound patients across Charlotte County.

Parking: On-site plaza parking at the Tamiami Trail location; can get busy midday.

The verdict: The reliable, full-service choice — deepest menu, most reviews, statewide delivery, and a strong recurring veteran discount (20%).

4. AYR Cannabis — Port Charlotte

Location: 4656 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte Hours: Mon–Sun 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Rating: 4.8 ★ (746 reviews)

AYR rounds out the list as the deals-and-convenience pick — and the only dispensary here open until 9:00 PM every night, a real advantage for working patients. Located on South Tamiami Trail (US-41), the Port Charlotte store serves patients across Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, North Port, and the wider Charlotte County area with a full menu of flower, distillate and live resin vape cartridges, edibles, concentrates, capsules, tinctures, topicals, and devices.

The deal structure is what pulls patients back. AYR offers 50% off your first, second, AND third purchases — one of the only operators in Florida to extend the half-off deal across three full visits. Veterans receive 25% off, seniors get a discount, and there are birthday bonuses and weekly promotions stacked on top. AYR markets itself as offering "the best medical marijuana deals in Port Charlotte," and the math backs that up for new patients especially.

Parking: On-site lot parking at the US-41 storefront; open latest of the four, ideal for after-work visits.

The verdict: The best dispensary for deal-stackers and night-shift patients — 50% off across your first three visits, 25% veteran discount, and the latest hours in the corridor.
