Manhattan Dispensary Guide: Where to Shop in Each Neighborhood
Bud Rover Editorial
A neighborhood-by-neighborhood guide to licensed Manhattan dispensaries, from Midtown and Hell's Kitchen down to Tribeca and up to Harlem, with delivery coverage and the New York rules that actually affect your visit.
Manhattan is the densest cannabis retail market in New York State, and it is also the most confusing to shop for the first time. Licensed stores sit a few blocks apart, they range from tucked-away storefronts to large flagship floors, and a lot of what you will find online is not a licensed dispensary at all.
This guide works the way the borough actually does: neighborhood by neighborhood. Every shop named below is an active listing in Bud Rover's Manhattan directory. Groupings use each listing's verified address and ZIP code together with the neighborhood field where the record carries one, so a store is placed by where it actually is rather than by a single saved label. All but one of the listings below show live deals today, and the deals section explains the difference between an everyday low price and a genuine markdown — if you just want the full list, start with the Manhattan dispensary directory.
What "licensed" means in New York
New York's adult-use market is regulated by the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). Licensed adult-use dispensaries are required to post the OCM dispensary verification tool near their main entrance, and OCM publishes a public verification lookup so you can confirm a store before you walk in (OCM dispensary location verification).
Three things matter before your first visit:
- Age: 21 and older for adult-use sales. Bring ID — every licensed shop checks.
- Possession limits: adults 21 and over may possess up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower and 24 grams of cannabis concentrate (OCM adult-use information).
- Where you can consume: a private home, or most places where tobacco can be smoked — but not in a vehicle, a private business such as a restaurant patio, a hookah or cigar bar, or on federal property.
Anyone selling without a license is not part of this market, and the OCM verification tool is the fastest way to tell the difference.
Midtown and Times Square
Midtown is one of the borough's largest clusters, and its listings sit close enough together to compare two or three shops on foot between appointments.
What is here
- FlynnStoned Cannabis Company — Midtown East (Midtown East)
- SOFACLUB — Midtown East (listed with same-day delivery)
- NYCBUD — Midtown (Midtown West, same-day delivery listed)
- The Daily Green — Times Square
- Freshly Baked NYC — Midtown Dispensary
- Culture House Cannabis Dispensary — Midtown
Who it suits
Midtown is the pick if you are visiting, working near Grand Central or the Port Authority, or staying in a hotel and want the shortest possible detour. Because this cluster is so dense, it is also the best area to compare two or three shops in one afternoon — selection and pricing differ more between stores than you would expect.
Hell's Kitchen
- Rezidue
- Elevation HQ — Hell's Kitchen (same-day delivery listed)
The Hell's Kitchen listings sit on the west side between Midtown and the Theater District, which makes them a practical stop before an evening out. Both records in Bud Rover show delivery availability, so this is one of the easier neighborhoods to order from instead of visiting.
Chelsea and Flatiron
What is here
- FlynnStoned Cannabis Company — Chelsea
- Verdi Cannabis — Chelsea
- The Alchemy — Flatiron (same-day delivery listed)
- Stoops NYC Cannabis Dispensary — Flatiron (pickup only on its Bud Rover record)
Who it suits
Chelsea and Flatiron are the most walkable pairing in the borough — a short stretch of 14th to 23rd Street covers four listings. Note that not every store in this cluster delivers: Stoops is marked pickup only, so if you are ordering, confirm before you build a plan around it.
SoHo, Tribeca, and Lower Manhattan
Lower Manhattan holds the widest spread of listings, from SoHo and Tribeca down through Nolita, the Bowery and the Financial District.
What is here
- The Flowery Dispensary — SoHo (same-day delivery listed)
- Dagmar Cannabis — SoHo
- Maison Canal (Tribeca)
- Altocanna (Tribeca, same-day delivery listed)
- Alta Dispensary — Nolita / Lower Manhattan
- Gotham Cannabis Dispensary & Delivery — Bowery (same-day delivery listed)
- Dankley Dispensary — FiDi (same-day delivery listed)
Who it suits
This is the strongest area for a weekend shop-and-walk trip, and the FiDi and Bowery listings are the practical option for anyone working downtown. SoHo and Tribeca also carry some of the largest footprints in the borough, which usually means a broader menu — worth knowing if you are looking for a specific category rather than browsing.
Union Square, Greenwich Village, and the East Village
- Dazed Cannabis — Union Square NYC — same-day delivery listed
- The Travel Agency: A Cannabis Store — Union Square — same-day delivery listed
- Smacked Village — Greenwich Village — same-day delivery listed
- The Flowery East Village — same-day delivery listed
Every listing in this cluster shows delivery availability. It is also the cluster most tied to the subways students and nightlife crowds actually use, so expect the busiest weekends.

Upper East Side, Carnegie Hill, and Yorkville
What is here
- Bliss + Lex — Upper East Side
- The Emerald Dispensary — Upper East Side
- Lenox Hill Cannabis Co. — Upper East Side
- Carnegie Hill Cannabis Co. — same-day delivery listed
- Nucleus Dispensary — Yorkville — same-day delivery listed
Who it suits
Five listings on one side of the park makes the Upper East Side the most convenient stretch for residents who would rather not cross town. Carnegie Hill and Yorkville effectively extend that same cluster north, with delivery listed on both.
Upper West Side
- Superfly Dispensary — Upper West Side
- Flower Power Dispensers — Upper West Side
- Just A Little Higher Cannabis — Upper West Side
All three Upper West Side listings show delivery availability, which makes this a neighborhood where ordering is a real alternative to visiting — particularly on a weeknight.
Harlem and Upper Manhattan
- Gotham Buds — Harlem
- Excited Unlimited (Washington Heights) — same-day delivery listed
- Happy Munkey — Dyckman / Inwood
Upper Manhattan is the fastest-growing part of the borough's listing set, and it covers the whole corridor from Harlem up through Washington Heights to Inwood. If you are north of 110th Street, these are your closest licensed options rather than a trip downtown.
Also licensed in Manhattan
These Manhattan listings sit outside the clusters above on our records, so they appear in the directory without a section here:
- Housing Works Cannabis Co. — same-day delivery listed
- Torches NYC Dispensary
- Mighty Lucky NYC Cannabis Dispensary & Weed Delivery
Cannabis delivery in Manhattan
New York licenses cannabis delivery separately from retail, and OCM publishes consumer delivery FAQs (OCM adult-use delivery FAQs). In Bud Rover, 31 of the 37 active Manhattan listings show delivery on their record — about 84% of the borough's listings.
Delivery is not universal, though. Six Manhattan listings are pickup only or have no delivery on file, so always check the individual store page before you order. For the borough-wide view, see NYC cannabis delivery.
Deals: 250 live Manhattan deals, 67 of them real markdowns
Manhattan is not a thin deal market. Applying the same rules the live Manhattan deals page uses — active records, unexpired, and each store's display cap — 250 deals are visible today across 36 of the 37 listings.
Two rules shape that number, and both move from week to week:
- Expiry. Records past their expiry date are hidden automatically rather than left up as bait.
- Per-store display caps. Each store shows a limited number of deals (ten for basic listings, more for paid ones), so the largest menus are trimmed to their strongest cards.
Everyday Low Price is not a discount
New York stores publish two very different kinds of record, and mixing them up is the easiest way to think you are saving money when you are not.
- Everyday Low Price items — 183 of the 250 visible deals. These are regular prices the store keeps low all the time. There is no markdown and nothing struck through. They carry an Everyday Low Price or Everyday Value label, and they are genuinely useful for comparing one shop against another on the same product.
- Genuine markdowns — 67 of the 250 visible deals. A real sale: a verified discount percentage, a sale price below the original, a BOGO, or a multi-buy like two eighths for a set price. These show the actual saving as a badge.
The distinction matters because an Everyday Low Price is never a markdown. Bud Rover does not dress a regular price up as a discount, and the site separates the two.
By category, the 250 visible deals break down as flower 89, edibles 47, vapes 45, prerolls 43 and concentrates 21, plus five records that carry no category.
How to see only the real discounts
Open all Manhattan deals and switch the sort to Discounts. That view hides regular-price Everyday Low Price items and keeps only the genuine markdowns — currently 67 deals, ranked by the size of the saving.
If you are comparing everyday prices instead of hunting a sale, leave the sort on Price: Low to High and the full 250 remain in play.
Deal records carry expiry dates and are refreshed continuously, so treat 250 and 67 as a dated snapshot rather than a fixed number. The deals page is the source of truth on the day you shop.
Know before you go
- Verify the store. OCM's verification tool exists exactly for this.
- Check hours on the listing, not the search result. Hours change seasonally.
- Carry ID. 21+ only, no exceptions.
- Do not consume in public. New York allows consumption in private homes and most places tobacco can be smoked, with the exceptions listed above.
- Home cultivation is separate. Adults 21+ may grow at home under OCM's own home cultivation rules, which are published separately from retail rules (OCM home cultivation FAQs). Do not assume store staff will advise on it.
